British Arab network Chairman interviewed about local elections in England by International media

This week, Dr. Wafik Moustafa, was interviewed about the local elections in England, by Abu Dhabi TV. He gave an analysis on the issues at the heart of the elections and the prospects of success of the political parties as the people voted. Dr. Moustafa called on all communities to participate in the elections.

With over 140 councils declaring an election result Labour has failed to take target councils in London, while the Conservatives lost control of Trafford but have gains elsewhere.

UKIP lost over 120 councillors while the Lib Dems have taken Richmond-upon-Thames council. The Greens have a net increase of five councillors.
