British Arab Network Chairman attends 40th anniversary celebrations of Anglo-Omani Society
30 Jan 2016, by In the Media -On 27th January 2016, The Anglo-Omani Society held a Reception at Lancaster House hosted by Tobias Ellwood MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, and attended by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales and His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said.
With over 300 guests, including current and former ambassadors, diplomats, MPs, members and many senior friends of Oman, the reception was a chance to celebrate centuries of historic friendship between the two countries and review the activities and milestones of the Society during its 40 years of life.
On attending, Dr. Wafik Moustafa, Chairman of the British Arab Network, said:
“I am delighted and honoured to attend this reception and give my congratulations to the Anglo-Omani Society on their 40th anniversary and to celebrate the historic relationship between the United Kingdom and Oman. The Society has and is doing great work.”
