His Majesty the King of Bahrain, King Hamad bin Issa al-Khalifa has visited the U.K. to meet with HM the Queen to review the longstanding mutual ties between both royal families in addition to the progress and development of bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields.

Dr. Wafik Moustafa, Chairman of the British Arab Network, welcomed the King’s visit to the U.K. in an interview with Bahrain’s Allo’loa TV.

He said:

“I welcome King Hamad bin Issa al-Khalifa’s visit to U.K. as both countries have historic ties and friendship, and common strategic and security interests. This cannot be over emphasised at this time of great  instability in the region.”
