Dr. Wafik Moustafa, Chairman of the British Arab Network, has welcomed the rapprochement between Egypt and Qatar, in an interview on Mustaqilla TV. He said it was time for both countries to turnover a new leaf in their relations. It represents a rare opportunity to build understanding and reconciliation, which is in their and the regions interests.  The media warfare between Egypt and Qatar has led to ill feelings on both sides and will take time to heal.  The suspension of Al Jazeera Direct Egypt TV is the right move. The Egyptian Government should now release the three Al Jazeera journalists.
